Annapurna base camp trek is one of the most popular trekking destination in Nepal. The feature of this trek is the Gurung culture and their tradition. Gurung is one of the ethnic groups of Nepal and mostly live in western part of Nepal. This part of Nepal is known as a home of British Gurkha soldier too. The Annapurna sanctuary trek features beautiful flora- fauna, waterfalls, hot springs, many different species of birds, animals, bamboo and Rhododendron forest seen along the trekking route of ABC. The Rhododendron flower is the national flower of Nepal and its main blooming time is mid February to mid May.

Day 1
Kathmandu to Pokhara: There are two different options to reach Pokhara, either drive about 7 hours (200km.) by tourist bus or half an hour flight from Kathmandu (costs extra). 3 stars category hotel will be provided.
Day 2
Pokhara to Tikhedhunga: (1577m) approximately an hour and half drive by car to Birethanti and trek continues 5hrs / 6Km to Tikhedhunga. Night stay at guest house.
Day 3
Tirkhedhunga to Ghorepani: (2855m) trek about 6hrs /5Km. Enjoy waterfalls, flora-fauna many species of birds, animals, Rhododendron forest (Nepalese national flower) etc on the way. Night stay at the guest house.
Day 4
Ghorepani to Tadapani: (2657m) Early morning visit to Poonhill specifically for sunrise and stunning view of the Himalayas including 6th and 8th world highest mountain Dhaulagiri and Annapurna first. Back to lodge/ breakfast and trek continue about 5 hrs /09Km to Tadapani. Night stay at guest house.
Day 5
Tadapani to Chhomrong (1989m.): Trekking through the pleasant Rhododendron forest about 5 hours /9Km. Night stay at guest house.
Day 6
Chhomrong to Himalaya (2885m.) trek continues about 6 hours /7.5Km through bamboo forest possibly sight of bird, animals and waterfalls. Night stay at guest house.
Day 7
Himalaya to Annapurna Base Camp (4137m) This is the day to encounter with mountains and ice falls. Trek about 5 hours / 7.5Km. Night stay at guest house.
Day 8
Annapurna Base Camp to Sinuwa (2337m.) Leave the lap of Annapurna Himalayas, trek about 6 hours 11.5Km.
Day 9
Sinuwa To Jhinudanda (1665m.) trek about 5 hours /4.5Km.
Day 10
Jhinudanda to Nayapul and Pokhara: In the morning enjoy the hot spring bath and trek about 4 hours /4.5Km to reach Nayapul. We take a taxi ride for  an hour and a half to reach Pokhara.
Day 11
Pokhara to Kathmandu: Either 7 hours drives by tourist coach or 30 minutes flight to Kathmandu. Flight cost is extra.

Annapurna trek became popular since 1950 when the first successful mission-expedition was carried out by French team led by Maurice Herzog. The stunning panorama view of some of the world highest mountains Mt. Dhaulagiri 6th highest (8167m.) and Annapurna first 8th highest (8091m.) is the main feature of this trek. More than 12 snow capped Annapurna Himalayan range can be seen specially from Poon hill Top which lies on the way to Annapurna trail. Fewa lakes, caves, Devi’s falls, Seti river gorge, temple, Monasteries and world peace Stupa are the main attractions for the tourists.
