The Annapurna Circuit trek has been highly recommended as one of the excellent destination for trekking in Annapurna region since it was opened to foreign trekkers in 1977. Also, Annapurna circuit trek is the 10th popular trekking in the world. The Annapurna trekking region lies directly to the west of the Kathmandu valley. This region is culturally and naturally diverse and it is the most important trekking route compared to any other treks in Nepal as well as cheap and easily access trekking in Nepal. The Annapurna sanctuary trek offers you the sight of 3 different over 8000 meters mountains.

Day 1

Kathmandu to Bhulbhule (840m.): Drive 199Km. about 8 hours by public bus and overnight stay at guest house.

Day 2

Bhulbhule to Syange (1130m): Trek about 6 to 7 hours 15Km., night stay at guest house.

Day 3

Syange to Dharapani (1900m): Trek about 6 to 7 hours 16Km. night stay at guest house.

Day 4

Dharapani to Chame (2710m): Trek about 6 hours 16Km., night stay at guest house.

Day 5

Chame to upper Pisang(3310m): Trek about 6 hours 14.5Km, night stay at guest house.

Day 6

Upper Pisang to Braga (3450m): Trekking via Ngawal and Ghyaru Village for superb view of mountain, traditional village and oldest monasteries. Trek about 7 to 8 hours 17.5Km, night stay at guest house.

Day 7

Braga to Manang (3540m): Trek about 45 minutes maximum 2Km, night stay at guest house and explore the Area. Visit to Gangapurna Lake in Manang and other surrounding places.

Day 8

Manang to Churi lader (4200m): Trek about 3 to 4 hours 10Km, night stay at guest house.

Day 9

Churi Lader to either Phedi or Throng La high camp (4850m): Trek about 5 hours 7Km., night stay at guest house.

Day 10

Throng La high camp to Muktinath (3800m): Trek about 6 to 7 hours 14Km, night stay at guest house.

Day 11

Muktinath to Kagbeni (2800m): Explore the area and trek about 3 hours 10Km, night stay at guest house.

Day 12

Kagbeni to Jomsom (2720m): Trek about 3 hours 9Km, night stay at guest house and explore the area.

Day 13

Jomsom to Tatopani (1189m): There will be no trekking this day. We will take a Jeep or Bus to Tatopani. We will stay at Tatopani and you can enjoy the hot spring bath.

Day 14

Tatopani to Chitre (2350m): Trek about 5 hours 12Km, night stay at guest house.

Day 15

Chitre to Ghorepani (2855m): Trek about 3 hours 5Km, night stay at guest house.

Day 16

Ghorepani to Tadapani (2590m): Early morning visit to Poon Hill for sunrise and mesmerizing Himalayan views and trek continue about 6 hours 9Km, night stay at guest house.

Day 17

Tadapani to Ghandruk (1940m): Trek about 3 to 4 hours 5Km. night stay at guest house.

Day 18

Ghandruk to Pothana (1890m): Trek about 6 to 7 hours 17Km, night stay at guest house.

Day 19

Pothana /Phedi to Pokhara (828m): Trek down to Phedi about 3 to 4 hours 5Km and drive about 45 minutes to Pokhara, night stay 3 stars categories hotel.

Day 20

Exploration day in Pokhara city: There are many nice things to see. You can visit to Few Lake, Mountaineering Museum and other places.

Day 21

Pokhara to Kathmandu: Either 7 hours drives by tourist coach or 30 minutes flight to Kathmandu. Flight cost is extra.

The view during this trek includes 6th highest mountain Mt. Dhaulagiri (8167m), the 7th highest Mt. Manaslu (8163m) and 8th highest Mt. Annapurna 1st (8091m) including dozens of snow capped peaks. The route to Annapurna sanctuary trek lies along the home of British Gorkha soldiers in international repute. Basically, trek to Annapurna will take you across river valleys, waterfalls, hot springs, animals, beautiful flora-fauna, deepest gorges on the earth and other beautiful natural places.

The highest point on route to round Annapurna trek would be Thorong-la Pass (5416meters). Trek to Annapurna will be one of the greatest experiences in life time because you will see different sceneries, people, culture, nature and tradition along the way. Simply we could say that Annapurna circuit trek is naturally and culturally the best trek to go.

For your kind information it should be stated that the highest Lake on the Planet called Tilicho lake (4919m.) lies in the region just south-west side from the Manang. This is one of most beautiful place in Annapurna trek. We highly recommend that you don’t miss a visit to Tilicho Tal if time permits you.

The gateway city of the Annapurna circuit trek would be Bhul Bhule according to our tentative itinerary due to its road connectivity. The former gateway was Besisahar. The public bus ride takes you 8 hours to reached Bhul Bhule from Kathmandu and private transport takes about 5 hours and the end point of the Annapurna circuit is Pokhara. Private transport will be provided to you for an extra cost on your request.

AMS (Acute Mountain sickness) is one of the most prominent and dangerous sickness while you are in the mountain and we have arranged our trek to the Annapurna circuit in such a way as to follow the famous saying “Walk High, Sleep Low”, as far as possible.
