Everest Base Camp Trek is undoubtedly the best trek in Nepal and possibly in the world. This trek will take you to the base of the world’s highest mountain. The Everest trek will take you through the home town of Tenzing Norgey Sherpa, first Everest summiter along with Sir Edmond Hilary in 29th May 1953. Everest trekking will take you through the Sherpa village where you can observe their culture and tradition. The whole Everest region is home of Sherpa mountaineers whose mountaineering skills are praised all over the world.

Day 1
Kathmandu to Lukla (2840m) & Phakding (2610m): 35 minutes flight to Lukla and trek about 4 hours 8.5Km./5.3 miles. Night stay in guest house.
Day 2
Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3440m.): Trek about 5 hours 10.5Km./ 6.5 miles. Night stay in guest house.
Day 3
Namche Bazar: Rest day at Namche Bazaar to acclimatize and explore the area. Night stay in guest house.
Day 4
Namche Bazaar to Khunde (3840m.):  Trek about 3 hours 2.5 Km./1.5 miles. Night stay in guest house.
Day 5
Khunde to Tengboche (3860m.): Trek about 6 hours 10Km./ 6.25 miles. This is the best place to view mountains such as Mount Everest (8848m.), Lhotse (8527m.), Lhotse Shar (8387m.), Nuptse (7879m.), Ama Dablam (6857m.), Thamserku (6611m.), Tawache (6539m.), as well as explore the Tyangboche Monastery.
Day 6
Tengboche to Dingboche (4360m.): Trek about 5 hours 8.5Km./ 5.3 miles. Night stay in guest house.
Day 7
Dingboche to Labuche (4940m.): Trek about 5 hours 7.5Km./ 4.7 miles. Night stay in guest house.
Day 8
Labuche to Gorak Shep (5170m.): Trek to Everest base camp the same day. Trek about 3 to 4 hours.3.7 Km/ 2.3 miles. Night stay in guest house.
Day 9
Gorak Shep / Kalapatthar / Labuche: Trek about 7 to 8 hours in total visiting Kalapathar 11.7Km. /7.3 miles.
Day 10
Labuche to Tyangboche: Trek down all the way following the same route.
Day 11
Tyangboche to Monjo(2840m):  Return trek along the same trail with stunning view of the Himalaya.
Day 12
Monjo to Lukla: This is the last day of Everest base camp trek.
Day 13
Lukla to Kathmandu: A pleasant flight by small twin otter, which allows an opportunity to see beautiful villages high in the mountains and an exquisite taste of the Himalayan range.
