This Lhasa tours tour is one of the shortest tour to Lhasa for 4 night 5 days and suitable for people with limited time frame. This Lhasa tour takes you to the historical sight in Lhasa like Norbu Linka which is the palace of Dalai Lama. You will also visit Potala palace the winter house of Dalai Lama, Bharkor bazaar (biggest market in the area), Drepung Monastery (biggest monastery in Lhasa), Sera monastery, Jokhang temple, (one of the most sacred temple in Tibet) etc.

Day 1
Kathmandu to Lhasa by flight: Lhasa tour starts from Kathmandu airport. We take a flight to Lhasa on Air China. This is one hour flight which gives a great aerial view of Mt. Everest and other high Himalayas. We arrival at Gongar airport at around 13.30 (china time). After the immigration and customs we take about two hours drive to reach Lhasa at an altitude of 3650 m. Upon arrival at Lhasa we go to the hotel and spend rest of the day for acclimatize.

Day 2
Lhasa Sightseeing: We start Lhasa tour with a visit to famous monasteries Drepung located at 12 km out of Lhasa. The next destination is Norbulinkha (summer palace of the Dalai Lama). During afternoon, we visit to Jokhang temple. It is one of the oldest and sacred temple in Tibet. Later we visit Barkhor Street and is popular place among Tibetan pilgrims. It is also a popular marketplace for Tibetan handicrafts and antiques.
Day 3
Lhasa Sightseeing: We visit the Potala Palace in the morning. It is one of the famous marvels of Tibet. This palace is the former house of Dalai Lama and you will have a great time during Potala palace tour. In the afternoon we go to Sera Monastery located at about 5 Km outside Lhasa.
Day 4
This is the day for you to relax and enjoy the beautiful city of Lhasa. This will be a perfect day for you to explore the small alleys in the old Tibetan part of Lhasa city.
Day 5
Fly Lhasa to Kathmandu: This is the last day of the tour and we go to Gonggar airport to catch the flight back to Kathmandu or continue your journey via mainland China. We arrive to Kathmandu at around 09:00 0’clock. During the flight we enjoy great views of Himalayan range.
